Global Resource Corp. Develops Additional Microwave Technology
WEST BERLIN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Resource Corp. (OTC: GBRC - News), a developer of a patent-pending
microwave technology and machinery for extracting oil and gas, announced
today that it has filed an application for a new patent on its
Electro-Graphic Resonance Chamber (E-GRC). The E-GRC (
“Magic
Box
”) uses a microwave signal run in a
resonating facility through the test material and back through a crystal
detector to generate a frequency to be read by an oscilloscope. The
E-GRC can identify the resonating frequency for any material within the
operating range of 4 GHz to 18 GHz.
This new technology will allow the Company to quickly identify the
optimum frequency for any feedstock that can potentially be processed
into oil and gas. Prior identification techniques were extremely time
consuming and costly. The new E-GRC process will significantly reduce
Global Resources testing time in the laboratory and will ensure that
Global Resource is building the microwave system units to match the best
frequency for the particular feedstock currently being used. In
addition, the E-GRC will assist in expanding operating margins on future
sales of microwave systems.
“We are extremely excited to have developed
this tool enabling us to find frequencies that are target specific to
the base material,” commented Mr. Frank
Pringle, CEO of Global Resource. “The test
unit will have the ability to find magnetic resonance frequencies for a
multitude of materials so quickly and efficiently that the economic
potential will reach far beyond the hydrocarbon industry and produce
additional revenues for GRC with its own market penetration.”
About Global Resource Corp.
Global Resource Corp., (OTC: GBRC - News), is a developer of a patent-pending
microwave technology and machinery that extracts oil and petroleum
products from shale deposits, tar sands, capped oil wells, bituminous
coal and processed materials such as tires and plastics as well as
dredged soil from harbors and river bottoms. Its process produces
significantly greater yields and lower costs than are available using
existing technologies. Because the process takes place in an enclosed
environment it is emission-free and an efficient and cost-effective tool
for cleaning environmental wastes and toxic materials. For more
