Global Resource Corporation Announces Successful Demonstration of Patriot-1

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Resource Corp. (Other OTC: GBRC), a developer of a patent-pending microwave technology and machinery for extracting oil and gas, today announced the successful demonstration of its Patriot-1 commercial prototype.

The Patriot-1 prototype has an automated engineering process to provide a highly energy efficient, emissions free way to convert a wide range of hydrocarbon materials into energy. From May 4 – 8, Global Resource provided a public demonstration of the prototype to prospects, partners, and dignitaries in the Company’s Rockford, IL research facility.

Discussing the demonstration, Global Resource’s Chief Executive Officer Eric Swain commented, “The demonstration of the Patriot-1 prototype in Rockford, IL was an enormous success. Over 100 people from companies throughout the U.S. and across the globe- including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Australia, Turkey, and France- came to witness the unveiling of this ground-breaking technology over the course of our five day event.”

Attendees witnessed a continuous feed microwave tire recycling system that successfully transformed large amounts of scrap tires into diesel fuel, methane, pentane, butane, propane as well as combustible gases, and carbon ash. The live demonstrations allowed attendees visual and physical access to a piece of equipment that has an internal temperature of 500°c (1000°F) with no external heat, no smell and no emissions.

Swain continued, “Many attendees were from the recycling industry and looking for the next generation system that addresses the world’s need to recycle without emissions, while also benefiting from the profitable business model created by high energy efficiencies. While others attended to validate to their political constituents that something finally exists to support their efforts to change waste recycling and renewable energy. All visitors shared the observation that Patriot-1 was a ‘game changing system’ for waste to fuel conversion.”

“It was an amazing week for our potential customers who have a serious interest in moving forward with utilizing our technology,” said Jeff Kimberly, President of Global Resource Corp. “Global Resource performed a seamless demonstration, answered technical questions from potential clients, provided a complete proposal for a turnkey operational tire plant, and proved the eventual ROI of our technology for various applications.”

Global Resource is pursuing the next critical stage of negotiations with major players in their respective industries. In addition, the company will also continue the development of its technology for the conversion of additional feedstocks; including municipal waste, tanker sludge, heavy oil, coal and shale; to energy.

Swain concluded, “We are pleased to continue our commercialization strategy of our technology through forming strategic relationships, the sell of conversion systems, and deploying tire recycling technology on a global scale, while providing increased value for all of our shareholders. Moving forward, we see a large opportunity for Global Resource outside of tire conversion, and we are focused on expanding the addressable materials for conversion in the future.”
